External display on eMac?

does anyone know if you can set up the eMac with an external monitor that will extend your workspace instead of just displaying whats on the main eMac monitor?

I know that there are hacks for doing this on at least some Mac models, so check google or versiontracker for "external monitor hack" or something like that.
