Hello,
I currently use a Samsung 2343BWX as an external display for both my PC and macbook pro. I am using a Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter at the moment, I will probably switch to a DVI adapter soon (whenever I get a chance to hit up the mac store) but I am not sure if I want to if my problems will continue.
Right now when I turn the display on for my mac it shakes or vibrates, more so on the top and bottom, but also around the edges of whatever windows I have open on screen. After approximately 10-15 minutes this slowly goes away.
It will randomly come back when opening other programs like text/edit, but just for that window.
My macbook display works perfectly and this monitor works perfectly on my PC, however on my PC I do use a DVI connection.
Do you think it is simply an issue of using the VGA adapter? I don't remember this happening on my older lower quality LCD which didn't even have a DVI option. Also, I do have the firmware update for the VGA adapter released about a year ago now?
Any input would be greatly appreciated! I know I should expect some quality loss going from DVI to VGA, but the shaking screen is beyond normal loss.

Edited: Apparently I own 4 out of 5 defective VGA cables, cable experimentation solved the major issues!
