Anyone has tried working with AirPlay on any Macbook Air (new or old) with a 1080P television set ?
Mine is connected via ethernet to a brand new Airport Extreme (802.11ac). I am running both a 2011 Macbook Air (802.11n) and a new 2013 Air (ac). They both show lags and freezes when using an external display as a desktop extension (not mirroring).
Any ideas why ? My guess would be the GPU but the 2013 air should perform much better and it doesn't !
