Hi all. I am simplifying my setup at home, and recently retired my Windows Home Server. My intention is to store all of my media on my new iMac, and share from there when needed (via iTunes library sharing and PS3 Media Server).
Since the server is no more, I now have 3x 1TB drives I don't know what to do with. I already use 2x Seagate Go-Flex USB drives for Time Machine (I swap the two drives on the same base weekly and keep one offsite).
I could get by with only one of the 3 drives for now to help with storage. I was looking at some Firewire 800 enclosures, but the multi-drive models can get pretty expensive. Even a single-drive FW800 box runs $70+. I'm wondering if I should just get a cheap USB 2.0 enclosure for now and wait for (hopefully) some Thunderbolt enclosures to come out next year.
Suggestions?
