I bought an external drive for my PS3. However, I'm confused as to which file format I need to use to format the drive?

I was going to use FAT32, but that would limit me to file sizes that are below 4GB. Can I use EXT3 or some other Linux file system?

FAT32 unless you are only going to use it while in Linux.
