External drive issue

I plug my Seagate in, 50% of the time it wont be picked up by OS X. I look at my console and find this:

USBF: 22006. 12 AppleUSBEHCI[0x1ea1800]::Found a transaction which hasn't moved in 5 seconds on bus 75, timing out!

So, back into Windows mode and reboot, everything is fine then.

Whats with that?
