Can you say Chi-City??
One of my external HD's (Buffalo DriveStation 4 1.0TB) has been acting a bit quirky lately, so I installed Drive Genius 2 with the intention of troubleshooting. Trouble is, in Drive Genius, the HD in question doesn't show up as a Volume, rather just as a Drive (on which many of the tools cannot be used). My FW400 drive shows up fine in the Volumes tab.

Furthermore, when I look at the info on my Buffalo drive in Drive Genius, it says 'Mounted: No.' The drive was pre-formatted as MS-DOS (FAT32), could that have anything to do with it?

Another issue I'm seeing is in Disk Utility. While it says that 830.1 GB are used (true), 'Number of Folders' and 'Number of Files' are both at 0. What's going on here, should I be worried about this drive?
