new to mac. don't want to buy the apple ext. drive for air since it only works with air.
do i need to buy one that is specifically marked as "mac compatible", or just about any external drive would work? the other thing is that i want to be able to boot from the ext. drive to install windows. in the past the usb powered ones have given me trouble in booting up on my dell.
any advice or recommendation is highly appreciated.
