ExternAL DVD Drive Permissions issue

I have imported hundreds of Music DVD’s to my Macbook Pro 16” prior to Sequoia 15.……I just tried to import a Language program and I get the error "Access to the source volume was denied. Check the System settings for removable volume access”. I have gone thru all menu’s and can’t find where to set this. Can anyone point me in the right direction??

The app being used to access the external storage needs permissions to do so.
