Hey all,

Am going to replace my internal HDD with a new SSD. Any recommendations for an external enclosure so I can clone to the SSD, or "will pretty much anything do"?

MBP - [MID-2012 | 4GB | 500GB]

Thanks.

If you just want to use it once to do the clone, then yeah... pretty much any USB enclosure will do the trick. But if you want to keep the enclosure and use it later for storage, then look for a USB3 enclosure that supports UASP. This Inatech model is very popular and works well.
