Ok, so I am looking to get a dual bay external enclosure that will hook up to my iMac's FW 800 port.

My drives are 2x1.5TB SATA 3.0Gbps.

My question is (since I found a cheaper enclosure) will I loose any performance if I get a SATA 1.5 enclosure?

I realize the fundamental differences and that SATA 3.0 > SATA 1.5 > FW .800, but is there any reason that I would loose performance having SATA3.0 drives in a SATA 1.5 enclosure connected to a Fw800?

Seems like it shouldn't be an issue and the bottleneck is the FW800.. am I missing anything?
