With a BlacX SATA hard disk dock and a Mac Pro, I find myself with a growing abundance of SATA hard disks that sit around without a permanent home.

This company called Hudzee makes something I'm looking for: http://hudzee.com/

But they want $15 to ship just ONE case to me. Crazy. Does anyone know of any other solutions for safely storing your unprotected SATA disks in an organized manner?

Thanks!

I've used these:

and I highly recommend this kit -- especially since you might want to grab something from your stash of disks, without the hassle of installing the disk in an enclosure. It's also handy if you want to clone a drive.

I'm not affiliated with Granite Digital in any way, but I've done business with them and have no complaints at all. Their firewire cables are seriously heavy-duty.

Hmm, these are interesting, but I'm really looking for something I can pop the HD out of and slide it in to my Mac Pro or my BlacX dock:

It seems like this rubber casing would be difficult to remove/put back each time to swap disks in and out.
