External Hard Drive damaged

Hi I have a 2TB external drive that I cannot access there are some important files that I need is it possible to get them recovered or could there be a chance that it is hopeless, the heads were damaged and replaced but they said they couldn't recover it please help I'm desperate

Who did the work? Did they do it in a cleanroom?
