I have a mini. I just got an external hard drive. I installed the tiger "update" disk because i figured it is just the full tiger install with a check for 10.3. It checked for 10.3 on my mini hard drive, and let me install tiger. Now, am I gonna be missing anything since I only installed 10.4 on the new external drive, and did not write it over 10.3?

Ok, you installed 10.4 to the external hard drive and did not upgrade the 10.3 that was on the mini's original hard drive. Well, you have a clean install of 10.4, none of the programs or settings that you might have had when you were using the internal drive. You can still get your programs, just copy them from the 10.3 disk since your didn't "initilize" it, format the drive in PC talk. So you should be able to go in and get your stuff from the other drive, then you can use Disk Utility to format it so you can use the whole drive, and get rid of 10.3.eric2076 said:
