External hard drive docking station on/off light blinking non-stop

I'm using an external hard drive dock, and suddenly the on/off light on one of my hard drives is blinking all the time, even when I'm not using it.

Other than that, everything is fine, but I wonder if this behavior is a sign that something is wrong?
