Just bought a new 13" base MacBook Air today and one of the things I wanted to get was an external hard drive as I dont think 128 gb of flash is enough for me. I've been searching online and just don't know which to buy. I don't want to spend that much maybe $80 at most, I dont know if it's possible to get a quality one at that price. I want it to be slim and portable for sure but with at least 500gb of memory. Any suggestions? Thanks!

As in the previous post, searching the internet, you will find a wide range of choices.

Thanks for the options..i was thinking about getting either the seagate goflex ultraportable 500gb which is on sale at walmart for only $50, which the pro version which i was also considering is $80..which is better? has anyone heard anything good about these? walmart seems like the place to look for pricing lol...
I was thinking i could always get a warranty through squaretrade..my only issue is if i should wait till smaller thunderbolt drives lift off or just buy the seagate adapter when it finally releases. Thanks guys!!!

There are plenty of quality HDDs available for $80. You can get a 320GB, maybe even a 500GB portable one, or a 1TB desktop one, for roughly $80. BTW, don't shop at walmart.

It Will Be Nice When...

The answer to a question like this one will be ... a Thunderbolt HD from a variety of different manufacturers. Patience.....
