Need some help to see if this is okay to do.
I want to use and external hard drive to edit high def. video and place my itunes and iphotos on.
Then I want to use the second external to back up my photos and other things I don't want to lose. I don't need to back up my entire HD because I don't use if for anything but pleasure.
I am not looking to put my entire HD on the external, I only have 60GB hard drive, so that is why I need the external to edit on.
The G4 only has the 400 Firewire. Should I get and external hard drive with an 800 just to have or don't worry about.
Use one external for back up daisy chained to another that I can hook both my video camera and computer into. Does this sound okay or am I all off base?
