I'm in need of an external hard drive to use with my new RiMac. I have searched a bit and found that the only resonable priced hard drive that supports Thunderbolt 2 is the "Lacie D2".
Would you guys recommed this drive? I'm worried about one thing: I am going install some games on it (WoW, mainly) and I read that this hard drive is fanless. Is it going to affect the drive in any negative way, as gaming will make it spin non-stop for a couple of hours?
