Hello
I will be upgrading to Leopard very soon and want to upgrade my external hard drive before I do so. I would like to partition the new external drive in a way such that I can use the one drive to backup both my imac at home and my mbp from work. Is this possible? I wouldn't know, that's why I'm asking, but to me it makes sense that I could just have two partitions. The NEXT question I have is whether or not it is possible to connect one drive to two computers at the same time? I'm looking at the My Book Studio Edition, but before I buy anything I'd like to know if it's possible for me to connect the imac via usb and the mbp via firewire at the same time? Has anyone done this before? Finally, for someone who has already upgraded to Leopard, can you set the schedule for the Time Machine backups? If I can't have the drive connected to both machines at the same time, there shouldn't be a problem with backing them up one at a time, right?
Thanks for helping out!
