External Hard Drive (Lacie 16 GB Key) just changed to read only

External Hard Drive (Lacie 16 GB Key) just changed to read only.

I've tried all the recommendations, it won't let me change anything in Get Info. In Disk Utility I Verified the disk and it's fine but everything else is grayed out. I tried a few commands in Terminal, it doesn't recognize the drive. Restarting, rebooting, still nothing. Should I assume it's shot?

If still in warranty, give LaCie a call and get it replaced after copying all the data you have on it, if valuable. Do it while still readable.
