Hi.
I have been having a problem with my Brand New 250GB external hard drive 3.5" e-sata II Apex Plus, which I bought off ebay:

When I plugged it in the hard drive it seemed to work fine, there was a GREEN light off the HD, and it showed up on my desktop, however - I couldn't seem to add anything (files/mp3s) into it....(and there was small manual disc, keep in mind I have a MAC...so I put the small cd in and spent 10 minutes trying to get it back out.) While I was trying to get the small disc out, I accidentally dropped the hard drive (maybe from roughly 40cm, from my bed.) Next thing I know, I plug it in and the light off the external hard drive is ORANGE and making a skipping sound. According to the seller i have to reformat to a FAT32?
Will that solve the problem? And if so HOW do I do it? (Keep it mind the HD does not show up on my MAC) PLEASE HELP!
