i recently purchased an external hd because the hard drive on my laptop has no more more room, what im looking to do is to transfer all my music, movies and tv shows to the external drive and delete most of the tv shows and movies which take up most space on my hard drive built in. but still be able to access the movies/tv shows on itunes and be able to view them, please someone help my computers going so slow. i have my life on my computer and that consits of over 150 gigs of music as well as over 100 gigs of movies/ tv shows and dont want to loose them. :confused::confused::confused:

You can move the Movies and TV Shows folders to the external from the iTunes folder, and replace them with an alias to the new location.
