I've backed up all my files from a Mac pro manually to an external FireWire LaCie drive. I've completely flattened the Mac Pro.
I needed something from the LaCie drive, so plugged it into my MacBook. The drive won't mount. It spins up, stays on - nothing in the Finder. I had a look into System Info under FireWire and it says "Unable to list FireWire devices" in red.
I plugged the drive back into the Mac Pro (that's about to picked up by a new owner) and the drive won't mount there. In System Info under FireWire it merely gives the max. transfer speeds.
I've got a lot of work on that drive and I can't believe the timing. Anything I can try to resurrect this drive before I weep like a small child?
