External Hard Drive Problem

Hi, i recently purchased a 1tb Samsung Drive and an Icy Dock enclosure (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...le-_-External+Enclosure-_-ICY+DOCK-_-17198004)

I've installed the drive but cant get it to work at all in OSX. Cant see the drive in disk utitlity and ive checked the installation of the hard drive twice to make sure. The light comes on, and i've tried both USB and Firewire connections but i've got nothing and not sure how to fix this problem.

You may need to call the Icy people and inquire with them. Or try some creative things like booting with the external drive connected or not... good luck.
