Yo, okay so I recently erased my external hard drive's Time Machine data so I could partition it to store some extra stuff that was on my MacBook. So I made a 60gb partition for my extra stuff, and a 100gb partition for Time Machine.

Anyways, today I tried to move some of the T.V. shows that I have in iTunes into my external hard drive. I just drug the files into my hard drive and waited for them to copy over. Then I proceeded to delete the shows off of my MB hard drive. Then I clicked on one of the T.V. shows in my external to play it and see if everything worked fine. It didn't play off of my hard drive, it copied it back onto my MB hard drive and then played it from there. That's pointless!

Is there anyway I can play it off of my external instead of having to re-delete it every time I watch something or play something from my external?

Thanks!
