My external will no longer mount. Went to Disk Utility and it will not read it, only once when I turned it off, then popped up in the window, but nothing after that.
I took it over to my friends windows computer, it also read it but would not mount. Tried the device manager where it read it, but would not erase it.
The external is not making any funny noises and seems to run fine. Could the encloure be bad or the cords?
I am at the end of my knowledge level. Any help would be great.
