I'm looking to do some filming and need to get myself an external hard drive for my laptop. I've been looking around for one that's pretty rugged, and the best I can find is the LaCie Rugged Drive thing. I cannot however find any external hard drive that has a motion sensor (like in the MBP and MBs) built in. Is this possible? Does anybody know of any, in the UK, that are available? If not what would you recommend for the best hard drive that I can carry around that is robust and rugged enough to take a bit of a bashing and keep the data safe. I know about how Hard Drive's can be unreliable anyway and will be backing up to DVD all the footage, but I would like to have a hard drive as well. Any ideas?
