Hello

I have a PC and I want to use a MAC to watch some movies. Can I use the same external hard drive that my movies are stored on for my PC on my MAC? Someone said I might have to partition the drive? If I do does that split the HD in half in terms of storage? And how do you do that? And can MACs play .wmv files and other PC type video files? Thanks for the help.

If you're just transferring file to the Mac for viewing, you shouldn't have to do anything. I'm presuming your drive is NTFS; if it's not, you can still use it to transfer files but you're limited to 4 GB file size.

HTH ... Cheers!
