External Harddrive Won't Mount?

So I got a WD 2 TB external harddrive on Black Friday, and now it's not mounting on my computer. I tried it on my Windows partition also, and still, nothing. My SD Card also won't mount through the computers SD card slot. I don't understand why...

Any suggestions? xP


(Note: the light is blinking, and I can hear the fan turning).

Not sure...Can you see them if you are in disk utility? Is the external USB? Have you tried connecting anything else to that USB port?

I cannot see it in disk utility, it's usb, and other things work fine in the same port.
