External HD case for a MacBook HD?

I have a spare MacBook 250GB hard drive (salvaged from my 6 month old MacBook which I dropped a few weeks back) - is there any way to fit this into an external hard drive case so I can run it via USB/Firewire to my new MacBook?

Yep just google around for a 2.5mm SATA FireWire 400/USB 2 caddy/enclosure,also if you go fireWire you shouldn't need a A/C adaptor

I agree- there a a boatload of enclosures available out there but here is one from OWC that I would personally recommend simply because I have a couple and they work!
