I want to buy a macbook. I also want an external hard drive. I seen one at Future shop from Comstar ( http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pr...665000FS10078827&catid=23795&logon=&langid=EN ). In the compatability part it said only PC. So does that mean only their software is compatable with PC, cause if so, thats okay ,cause I don't want to use the software. But is the harddrive compatable with mac? or will it not work? Is any external harddrive compatable with mac? Or does it have to specify Mac compatable?

-Thanks!

it will work just fine... there's no way for the harddrive to selectively be compatible with certain OS... the software might not work tho, and you might want to reformat the HDD
