I recently got a new 24" Apple cinema display to go with my 13" unibody MacBook Pro. Loving it so far except for a couple little things.
I've got my External HD hooked up to the display to save some fiddling with USB cables every time I move my laptop. I've been doing a lot of DVD ripping lately because I want to get my entire DVD collection onto that HD. I'm used to just getting a rip started, leaving and forgetting about it. But now when I come home and wake my MacBook from sleep, I get one of those dialogue boxes that says I didn't unmount my HD properly.
Is this normal? And if so, is there any way around it?
Thanks
