When I right clicked on an image file>Open With, I was getting multiple links (at least two) to Photoshop CS3. I worked out that for some reason some of them were to the PS backup files on an external hard drive (I use SuperDuper). I was getting "application moved" and repair errors.
So I went into Get Info for the external HD backup partition and set system permission to no access. That solved the problem of false links to the PS app on the external HD, but I've since rebooted and the backup partition doesn't show up in finder. Any ideas how I can view the backup partition again, but deny system access to it in between using SuperDuper, when I'll need access again?
