External HD for new MBP... Any specific brands?

Anyone have any specific brands or types that they like? I've used a Western Digital external drive in the past and didn't have any problems. I just oredered my new MBP 10/17/08 and want to get a new external drive so any and all help will be greatly appreciated! Must be 500 GB or larger and have FireWire 800.
