Hi guys I'm looking to buy an external hard drive to put all of my iTunes music on, so it doesn't take up the space on my internal hard drive. I have about 80gb of media, and it slowed down my mac a lot, so I did a clean install of lion and I used a friends HD to transfer my iTunes to another computer until I find a hard drive. Any recommendations on which specific drive to get. I want 1-2TB no more then $100. Also, the HD will always be plugged into the computer playing music, etc.

Thanks,
Sean.

Something to keep in mind... They wouldn't be backed up in Time Machine. So if your external hard drive dies, you're screwed.

Yeah I have a bunch of old computers around here so it's backed up on one of those lol. I know external HD's are likely to fail after a while.
