is there any way, other than i tunes, to use my external (iomega) hard drive as a juke box? that is to say leave all my songs on it and access it when i want as a jukebox. if i put all them songs on i tunes it'll fill up my imac hard drive im sure. any help and thanks in advance:confused: :apple:

Yes, I beleive you can. I'm not at home right now so I can't quite walk you through it, but in iTunes, there is a directory search. Have that pull up the info from your external HD and you're good to go.

I don't know what will happen when you eject your external HD though, iTunes may freak a little bit.

iTunes > Preferences > Advanced At the top you can choose any folder to contain your iTunes music. You can also choose whether or not to copy all imported songs into that folder, and to let iTunes organize it.

will it look like itunes library? right now all the song in my i omega are just well thrown in there and tough to read:eek:
