Hi Guys,

I have a 2010 imac and I just recently moved my itunes to a drobo as it was getting to big.. everything went smoothly for a day untill the imac went to sleep and I got the "hard drive not disconnected properly msg" when it woke from sleep.

Problem I have is that it corrupted my itunes Library but its doing it everytime computer goes to sleep.

Is anyone else having this issue with external drives? or is it just a drobo issue?

EXACT SAME PROBLEM HERE!!!

I have a 2Tb external drive that handles sleep on my mac mini fine.

I use a 6TB JBOD raid using USB 3.0 to store my iTunes library externally. When the computer sleeps, iTunes freaks out and I get all these "itunes can't be saved errors".

This didn't happen before when it was a 3TB seagate external (to store iTunes) using USB 3.0 so it must be something with my new drive.

Love it if we could find a fix...Maybe something to do with raid array?
