External HD not mounted !?

Hi,

I tried using Firewire 800 and USB to connect my Mac mini running 10.5.8 but it is not getting mounted. Though Disk Utility shows the drive.

I get the following screen when I hit Repair:

Are you sure there isnt some type of 'lock' on your HD? thats what happened to me

Not to my knowledge. But it was working some time back....
