Hey all, I hope I can find someone here with a similar problem and hopefully a solution to my problem. Here it is:
I have an external hard drive on my Cisco Linksys EA4500 router. I can easily access the hard drive from my MacBook Pro (running 10.8.3) and I can save and edit data on the disk. I am also accessing the hard drive from my Samsung TV via AllShare. (Samsung TV: 40F6400). What now happened is that I have recently uploaded some new files on the hard drive from my mac and I run the "refresh" from the router and the TV to make sure I can access the files from the TV and the Mac.
After a day or so - there was a restart of the router, the TV and the Mac involved - I cannot find the new files anymore. Neither using the MacBook, nor the TV. All changes have been deleted and I can only see the data I have put on at the very beginning.
Does anyone have a similar problem with this setup?
BTW: The TV is connected to the router via LAN cable and not Wi-Fi to make it more stable.
Thank you very much!!!
Cheers Xx.
