I am just curious but is there a way to Password Protect an entire External HD. Like once you hook it into your computer via USB or Firewire it then asks for a password to gain access to the drive. If it's possible please let me know, thanks in advance.

Go into Disk Utility and create an Encrypted Disc Image the size of the drive. Then pick your password and set it to save to the external hard drive. Once it's done just open that disc image and put everything you want in it. Just eject it when your done. That way no one can access the files without the password you picked when creating the DMG (disc image). But make sure when your making the DMG it doesn't cancel prematurely or you'll have my problem.
