Hi,
Im interested in buying a ministack v3, i have a question tho. can i connect the firewire 800 to my imac, and connect a usb to my airport extreme to share to my macbook and other computers on network. will this cripple the firewire 800 speed atall?

I'm pretty sure this would corrupt your disk... it's likely set up to favour one connection or the other, and not to try to do both at once. You're probably better off hooking it to the iMac and using the iMac to share it, if you leave it on most of the time.
 
I have a Combo FW400/USB 2.0 Drive.

There is a Physical Selector Switch on the back, so you can choose which one you want to connect your computer to.

Odds are you won't be able to connect two interfaces.
