I just bought two new enclosures for the hard drives that were in my server, and I'm having some problems.

The server was Linux, so the filesystem is ext3. I installed ext2fsx, and the program found both of the drives, but it said that I need to do a Repair Disk on both partitions. I did, and then mounted.

One of the hard drives didn't have anything on it, so I immediately formatted it. The second hard drive has a lot of data on it that I still want, so I need to copy stuff off of it.

Well... here's the problem, it no longer will mount, and whenever I start up Disk Utility, it is endlessly "Gathering Disk Information."

Anyone know what I need to do?

Do you have version 10.4.10, sounds similar to my situation of my Ext HD not reading or causing Disk Utility to just search non stop.
