I'm considering making the jump from my Mac Pro 3.1 to an iMac Pro.

I'm looking at ways of putting 3 of the drives I have in my current mac pro in a useful enclosure - preferably connecting with USB-C, but have no idea where to start with such things.

Don't want to spend too much considering how much I already might be spending on the new machine!

Anyone been in a similar boat and found useful hardware for this?

This is literally the position I find myself in as well. However I have decided that I don't really want to go multi-drive anymore so I'm looking at using an NAS and transferring the data from those other drives there (and using a Raid 1+0 for redundancy). The downside is that it an be a lot of upfront cost

I'm more interested in mass storage than raw perf - so this is a better option for myself, but YMMV. It will also mean I can access stuff from other hardware (such as a future MBP purchase).

I haven't made any final decisions yet so I can't offer any concrete recommendations beyond that, but maybe this can give you something to think about.
