I just bought a 320GB Western Digital Passport. I plan to use this drive with my iTunes library so I can connect it to both Macs and PCs. I need this drive to be formatted in a way that both Mac and PC can access it (if possible without artifacts like ds.trash or whatever), and I don't think Disk Utility can do this. I don't like FAT16, so can anyone tell me how to do this the best way?

Also, how do I see what kind of file system it is already formatted with?
