Here's an odd one for you guys.
I just did a fresh install of SL and Windows 7 and everything was running great. I have HFS Read support in Windows and can access both my External HDD as well as my internal iMac drive.
After messing around on Windows for a little bit, I decided to reboot in to OSX. After this reboot, I went to watch some TV and returned to what seemed like my iMac being off. After moving the mouse, I got no response so I held down the power button until I was certain it was off and then repowered the system.
However, my iMac now refuses to mount the External Drive saying its not readable.
I rebooted into windows to make sure the drive was still functioning and Windows saw the drive without any issues.
What could be causing OSX to not mount the drive when Windows will? I have an extra hdd laying around but transferring 500GB+ back and forth will take forever.
Ideas?
