I have a maxtor 100GB usb 2.0 external drive connected to my Macbook through a usb hub. The problem is half the time when it is mounting (either I disconnect the hub, restart, etc.) it won't mount. In order to get it to mount I have to unplug the power and reboot the drive. When it does mount there are no problems and it works just fine and everything else on the hub works perfectly (I've even changed the port it uses to check that). It is formated to FAT32, becuase I used it on a PC before my mac days. It just makes me worried that it is on the edge of crashing or something. Any suggestions?
