Hi guys,
This is my first post so bare wih me!

A few days ago my mac started hanging on the GSOD, and nothing worked to fix it! I ended up formatting and starting over using the install disk.

I finished formatting a few hours ago, but now none of my 4 external hdd's are working!
The strange thing is that they do still work perfectly on my windows 7 laptop. They have worked on both windows and mac for the last year no problem, so I know it is not a formatting error (they're all exFat).

Ive tried disk utility to repair, but the drive is greyed out. Ive also tried DiskWarrior which says it cannot repair the disk before I even try. The error I get on my mac is 'this computer was not able to read the disk' error, with options to eject and ignore.

Any help would be hugelu appreciated!

Which Mac OS X version did you reinstall? ExFat support I think was added around 10.6.5 - so if you installed an earlier version it might not have support.
