Would an external isight camera plug into a Mac Book or Mac Book Pro work running Leopard or would only the internal one work. I would like to do an ichat where on one end there would be several people in on the conference. It would be much easier with the external isight camera.

Yes, no problem doing it. Just make sure you go into System Prefs -> Sound -> Input tab and select the appropriate iSight.
