is it worth to buy for videochat for my powerbook g4? or better off with other brand name such as Logitech webcam? Which brand name do you recommand?

external iSight webcam

They don't make the iSight external anymore, so eBay or somewhere similar would be the only place that you would find one. You're better off going with Logitech or even Microsoft. That way you can be sure the software is up to date.
