External keyboard w/ TouchID?

I wonder if Apple will eventually release an external keyboard with TouchID for things like the Mac Mini or when the iMac get's a T2 chip... any thoughts?

I love that if Apple is going to make it real, but I bet it would be very pricey, $299 maybe? Since it has to integrate the T* Chip and a fingerprint reader while transmits the data wirelessly and securely.
